Lots of good fried food; try the fried calamari over the fried clams. Poutines are good and the Lobster roll is decent.

Very useful cantine on the road to Carleton. The servings are generous and the service is great. I ordered the fish and chips, they were delicious!

This is such a great place, food was amazing, we tried two of their poutines and a club sandwich and popcorn chicken and fries. The poutines were delicious full of meat and flavors. Smoked meat and bacon. Spoon good. A must try. The club was delicious as well, great flavor mix and the coleslaw was so creamy... the popcorn chicken had plenty for my child. It was the kids menu for that. The place is just off the road, they have picnic tables to sit at. Just a bit noisy from all the traffic, but hey it was outside. The staff are super kind and friendly, being in Québec yes we spoke French first but I do believe they spoke some English too.
Wow, so lucky, got them on their last day of the season. I had a lobster guedille and my partner had a hamburger and we shared fries. Our food was fantastic and the best crispy not greasy fries. Super nice ladies too. Highly recommend!
We were on the hunt for a good lobster (homard) club sandwich, and found this cantine. Frankly, we were expecting an average sandwich, but our expectations were exceeded with our order. The staff was very clear and helpful as we had a few questions, and they happily accommodated our 'no mayo' special request. The lobster was delicious, the bacon, lettuce and tomato provided a nice compliment and were fresh, and the fries crispy but could have used a bit more salt in our opinion. We would definitely come back to try some of the other offerings...or just take another lobster club!
You eat outside or take out but the poutine was off the charts. The cl strips were good as well.
